[Occupation-categories](./occupation-category) are the "legal" or "standardized"
way of describing the job of an employee.
Companies often refer to a standardized categorization of occupations in order to determine management rules.
Examples may be:

* P.C.S. (Profession et Catégories Professionnelles) in France ;
* C.N.O. (Clasificación Nacional de Ocupaciones) in Spain ;
* KldB 2010 (Klassifikation der Berufe 2010) in Germany ;
* I.S.C.O. (International Standard Classification of Occupations) proposed by the International Labour Organization.

As such, occupation-categories are often used in jurisdiction-dependant contexts (i.e. collective bargaining agreements), like leave accrual management or minimum wages.
